Kannect Local helps communities with roots in Karnataka discover useful services, people, events and places wherever they live. We bring local knowledge into a shared directory that grows through community contributions.

Only Events accept new JPG, PNG or WEBP flyer/image uploads, up to 3 MB. Other sections use text and links. Expired event flyers are removed from storage by scheduled cleanup, normally within one minute; existing non-event images are preserved.
Purpose: Keep image storage focused on time-limited event information.
Find domestic/international air companions and unpaid help from fellow travellers; arrange Karnataka city-to-city car pooling or ask about train/bus ticket rules. Private-bus transfer requests require an official policy permitting transfers and explicit Admin review. Journey times include airport time zones; records appear at both endpoints and expire after departure. Private chat, optional callbacks, consent-based number sharing, favourites and QR controls reuse the existing app.
Purpose: Connect travellers without paid booking, calling or flight-search integrations.
Google rating fetching is disabled because its API can incur usage charges. Community reviews are disabled. Listings can provide a free outbound Google ratings and reviews link.
Purpose: Provide an additional, clearly identified source of reviews where available.
Open a pre-filled enquiry in your own messaging app for a publicly displayed mobile number. You review and send it; carrier charges may apply.
Purpose: Help you contact providers without adding SMS delivery costs to the project.
Discover News, Services Directory, Blood Donors, Rentals, Events, Sightseeing, Promotions and Offers for your city.
Purpose: Bring useful local information together in one place.
Filter services by verification, service type, category, sub-category and Area/Suburb. Dashboard filters also include country, state, city and status; later choices show only available options.
Purpose: Find and manage relevant listings with fewer choices.
Signed-in requesters can ask for contact numbers inside an accepted chat. Chat and appointment buttons open an in-page dialog with listing-specific conversation history. The lister can approve sharing to that requester or reject it. Appointment requests include a proposed time for the lister to approve or reject.
Purpose: Keep control of private contact details and scheduling.
Choose a continent, country, state, and city with dependent dropdowns when contributing or editing. New locations use a free online geography catalogue. Save your directory preference or request location assistance.
Purpose: Help you find the community closest to you.
Search published services, events and notices by keywords, with suggestions, city filtering and additional result pages. Services can be filtered by business/personal type and verification status.
Purpose: Find relevant options across cities, including dentists in a city or explicitly free events.
Browse published directories grouped by continent and country, with city links and listing and event counts.
Purpose: See where the community directory is available and explore beyond your city.
Choose Personal Services, Registered Business, Blood Donors, Rentals, Events, Sightseeing, Promotions or Offers and submit for review.
Purpose: Let community members share local knowledge while administrators review submissions.
Read fetched city news articles and community news with links to their sources, with regional fallback when needed.
Purpose: Keep you connected to local news.
Organisers can provide agendas, highlights, entry requirements, accessibility, parking and public transport guidance. Services support FAQs and hours; rentals support availability and property features; sightseeing supports indoor/outdoor and family suitability; offers support eligibility and terms. Owner edits enter review.
Purpose: Make important details easier to find without adding paid integrations.
Signed-in users send private organiser enquiries or proposed rental inspection times. Owners accept or decline requests, then use private history and existing inbox notifications. Event and notice conversations support callback requests and explicit, revocable number sharing to the other participant. Rentals have rent amount/currency/period and dedicated parking, furnished and pets choices. Owner email verification is separate from listing Admin verification. Organiser account email verification is separate from event Admin verification, and response metrics use actual first replies.
Purpose: Keep enquiries connected to the current managing account.
Optional venue coordinates load an attributed OpenStreetMap embed on demand. Browser location calculates straight-line distance locally. Parking and transport guidance are supplied by organisers. The event guide searches published information; it is not an AI service.
Purpose: Provide useful guidance without paid geocoding, routing, parking discovery or AI APIs.
Browse events grouped by month with category and Free/Ticketed filters, saved-only browsing and counts. Flyer-first details show city-local dates, venue directions, organiser information and booking URLs or QR instructions.
Purpose: Help you find opportunities to meet, celebrate and participate.
Sign in to send requests and use private conversations. Verified listers can receive enquiries and appointment requests in their inbox and explicitly share or withdraw numbers with an accepted conversation’s requester; device push notifications are available when enabled. Admin verified unclaimed listings can receive chats through an account with a verified matching listing email; claiming is not required.
Purpose: Support community connections while protecting private contact details.
Claim eligible listings and manage services, Area/Suburb, social links and contact settings. Ordinary contributions are reviewed; Super Admin changes publish immediately.
Purpose: Give verified owners a way to keep information accurate.
Save services, sightseeing, events, notices and news on your browser or installed app. Event and news sections also support saved-only filters.
Purpose: Make useful local listings easier to find again.
City pages include local time, weather, forecast, calendar and Panchanga links, with a Kannada display option.
Purpose: Make the directory useful for everyday community life.
Install Kannect Local on supported devices, with browser-specific installation instructions.
Purpose: Provide convenient access from your home screen.
Super Admin can upload section-specific JSON/CSV files, review per-row results, optionally verify imported records, and download a private CSV export of all listing sections and statuses. Contact editors split worldwide country codes from national numbers and save complete international numbers. The dedicated Blood Donors dashboard tab supports donor profile/contact editing, review, removal and verification. Services Directory listings are managed separately. Search by blood group, Area/Suburb, self-reported availability and listing verification. Public aliases and donor IDs protect personal identity. Donors choose whether to receive requests or show their last donation date. Availability has its own confirmation timestamp; old or unrecorded freshness is not inferred from unrelated edits. Signed-in users can open their private listing-specific request history.
Purpose: Connect signed-in requesters through accepted private chats; share and withdraw contact numbers for one requester. Critical, today and planned priorities, private reports and blocking are available. Listing verification does not establish medical eligibility.
Use Contact us to submit a private message for administrator review. Name, email, subject and description are required.
Purpose: Help improve the directory and report information that needs attention.
Shared Home, Back, Contribute, Sitemap, Search, Contact us, About and FAQ controls, listing statistics, visitor counts and a disclaimer.
Purpose: Make the site easier to navigate and explain the limits of community-submitted information.
Super Admin, Continent Admin, Country Admin, State Admin, City Admin, Area Coordinator and Volunteer roles have geography-scoped dashboards. Administrators review within their scope; coordinators and volunteers submit. Super Admin can filter listings and submissions by location, category, service type, status and verification, edit individual fields, apply the same field changes to selected listings, or enter different values per listing in a bulk grid and save/verify them together, and verify multiple published listings together.
Purpose: Support responsible publication and ongoing directory maintenance.
Choose a Registered Business or Personal Services, describe services and add website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn links.
Purpose: Present each provider clearly with the information relevant to their services.
Choose public numbers, hidden numbers with chat, sharing after an enquiry is approved, or chat only. Personal numbers are hidden by default; public display requires owner consent.
Purpose: Let listers control how people reach them. Hidden numbers are restricted to the owner and Super Admin.
Listings have city/name links with compact copy, share and QR-code actions that expand within the listing card; older listing links continue to work.
Purpose: Make local providers easy to find and share.
Contribute opens a dedicated page with section tabs. Services Directory supports Registered Business, Personal Services and Community/Public Services, contact privacy defaults, WhatsApp matching mobile, social links including X, public URL preview and private saved drafts. Super Admin can edit existing listings in the same grouped format, individually or by enabled fields across a filtered selection.
Purpose: Capture complete service information while letting listers control contact visibility.
Compact event entry supports a flyer preview (JPG/PNG/WEBP up to 3 MB), manual event details, event categories, Free/Ticketed choices, booking URL or QR-on-flyer instructions, city-local dates and expiry, public contacts, private organiser details and saved drafts.
Purpose: Make it easier to publish accurate events while protecting management contact details.
Super Admin can verify existing and new listings and city content, including multiple published listings together. Bulk editing supports multiple fields, per-listing WhatsApp/mobile matching, contact privacy and saving with Admin verification in one operation. Super Admin can explicitly show or hide contact numbers for Admin verified listings without an ownership claim or email OTP. Contact changes require fresh approval. Listings distinguish administrator verification from email verification. Contact and social links are shown only after verification, while phone privacy settings still apply.
Purpose: Explain how a listing was verified without implying a quality endorsement.
Listing offers and promotions can also appear in the relevant city sections.
Purpose: Help residents discover relevant local opportunities.
Planned work and features awaiting setup are listed separately from what is available now. No release dates have been set.
Email OTP verification is prepared but requires email delivery to be configured before it is available live.
Purpose: Allow eligible owners to verify their listing email themselves.
Move to a custom domain once it is registered and configured. No date has been set.
Purpose: Give the community a memorable website address.
